BSC (Hons.) Nursing / BSC Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/state Nursing council recognized Institute or University OR B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing council recognized Institute. Registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council
Or
Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing council, Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council with Two Years’ Experience in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital.

Nursing Officer Exam Pattern 2020
The duration of the examination shall be 180 minutes. 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 200 marks with four alternatives for each question. There will be negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
- Subject Related – 180 Questions
- General Knowledge & Aptitude – 20 Questions
The qualifying marks in Examination will be 50 percent for Under Reserved Candidate, 45 Percentage Marks for Other Backward Class and 40 Percentage for Scheduled Cast & Scheduled Tribal.
